It's easy to become a member of the Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering!

The Festival - The Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering is a nationally renown three-day acoustic musical festival featuring the finest old-time, jazz, bluegrass, Celtic and folk music on one stage.  The festival is help annually under the ancient oaks in Battle Ground, Indiana's Battlefield Park the last full weekend in June.

Traditional Music Center - The Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering Traditional Music Center is located in the Wells Cultural Center in Lafayette at 638 North Street.  Here we have our office, two performance stages for special concert events and along with exhibits dedicated to the traditional music history of Indiana.  Our office is open all year acting as a traditional music resource.

Special Concert Events -  Members receive advance notice of these events before tickets are offered to the general public.

Youth Programs - The future of any art form is always dependent  on the next generation.  This is especially true of traditional music.  We have developed programs to nurture youth’s enthusiasm for the music.

  • Fiddle & Banjo Classes - We’ve partnered with the Tippecanoe Arts Federation’s After School Arts Program to offer classes and provide instruments to regional youth during the fall and winter semesters.
  • The Wilbur Ade Memorial Scholarhip - is awarded annually to a young Indiana traditional musician.
  • Log Cabin Records - Indiana Fiddlers’ Gathering continues to release high quality Compact Discs of music featured at the festival.  We are the caretaker of a unique tape archive of countless hours of incredible performances spanning four decades.
